Portions=4, Pasta=full box, water=5 qt., salt=1Tbsp. Step 2 pick your time/firmness. 9 minutes al dente. 10 minutes firm. 11 minutes tender. Step 3 cooking directions: 1. Bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt. 2. Add pasta and stir; return to rapid boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain well. Serve as desired. Maintaining perfect pasta: To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss with a small amount of olive oil or sauce, and refrigerate. Grilled chicken & pasta shell salad. 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, grilled or broiled and sliced. 1/2 package (8 oz.) prince medium shells. 2 medium tomatoes, chopped. 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese. 1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian salad dressing. 2 cups torn leaf lettuce. Grated parmesan cheese, optional. Cook pasta according to package directions. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken and lettuce; mix well. Cover; chill thoroughly. Just before serving, stir in lettuce; arrange chicken on top. Serve with parmesan cheese if desired. 4-6 servings.
