Directions | Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Cook thoroughly. See cooking instructions. For food safety & quality follow these instructions carefully: keep frozen - do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer taken in several spots. Promptly refrigerate any leftovers. Reheat before serving. Store tightly closed in freezer at 0 degrees F. Microwave instructions: 1) Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart microwave safe dish. Add 1 tablespoon water (1 tablespoon water for half package). 2) Cover and microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage; stir halfway through cooking. Microwave - Full pack. Watts- min. 1200- 6. 1000- 7. 800 - 8 1/2. Microwave - Half pack. Watts- min. 1200 - 3 1/2. 1000 - 4. 800 - 5. 3) Let stand for 1 minute after cooking. Stovetop instructions: 1) Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water (1/4 cup water for half package). 2) Bring water to a full boil over high heat; reduce heat to medium-high. 3) Cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes (3 to 4 minutes for half package), stirring occasionally. 4) Drain and serve. For microwave ovens less than 800 watts, please use stovetop instructions. |
