Other Description | Savor the Flavor Responsibly®. This bold IPA features 5 varieties of hops, including Mosaic™ hops from the pacific northwest. These add a burst of citrus notes to the distinctive layers of German, English, and other American hops, all from growing regions near the "hop belt" of the 48th latitude. Cheers! Five hops from the "hop belt" of the Northern Hemisphere including bright, Citrusy Mosaic™ hops from Washington, each add a unique character to this full-bodied IPA. Citrusy, piney and earthy hop character balanced by a slight malty sweetness. Color: deep amber. Abv: 6.0% IBU: 55. Brewing the American Dream®. Our mission is simple: many people are working hard to grow their small businesses in food, beverage, hospitality, and craft beer, but can't find the funding or advice they need to succeed. Our founder, Jim Koch, faced the same challenges when he started brewing Samuel Adams Boston Lager® in 1984. With our nonprofit partner accion, we offer micro-loans and real world business advice to help these small business owners realize their dreams. As loans are repaid, they're recycled back into the fund. Through our brewing the American dream program, Jim and the Samuel Adams team are helping talented, passionate people live their American dream: from Edward Belden of Peddler's Creamery in Los Angeles, CA to Frank DiVincenzo of Basil World in Salem, NH.
