Opening instructions:
1. Lift side flaps.
2. Squeeze corners.
3. Tear strip.
Simply heat & eat.
Heating instructions: shake well before opening. Do not add water.
Stove top: empty contents into a saucepan. Heat to a simmer and deeply enjoy.
Microwave: do not microwave carton. Empty contents into a microwave-safe bowl and cover with microwave-safe plastic film. Be sure to vent. Heat on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, stirring once because microwaves vary, these are only guidelines.
Storage: refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days. Do not freeze package. Do not purchase if punctured or torn.
The soup: there were long soup lines outside of Al Yeganeh's legendary NYC store long before the classic Seinfeld show. This was soup worth waiting for--innovative recipes, miraculously fresh ingredients, and spices from secret sources. Our small-batch soups are made with this perfectionist's craft. As the New York Times said, Al creates "Art, not soup".
I add extra lobster at the store as a special treat. To duplicate that experience, add 3 oz. of 1/2" diced lobster for a very shellfish indulgence.
Ladle on pasta or ravioli for a culinary delight. (1 package for every 1/2 lb. of pasta).
Serve over grilled or sauteed fish to take it to the next level. (1 package for every 4 servings).
Use as a dipping sauce for grilled or sauteed shrimp, or crab cake topping.
