Directions |
Keep frozen.
Ready in minutes.
Conventional oven: 18 mins
Preheat to 425 degrees F. Bake frozen chick'n pieces on a non-stick baking sheet for 15-18 mins until crisp and golden, turning once halfway through cooking. In a bowl, toss heated pieces with warmed sauce and serve.
Stovetop: 8 mins
Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a non-stick large skillet over medium heat. Add frozen chick'n pieces and cook for 6-8 mins, turning often until crisp and golden. Do not crowd the frying pan. Add warmed sauce and serve.
Sauce Pack: 6 mins
Place sauce pack in bowl of hot water for 3 mins to defrost. Open pack and pour into small sauce pan. Heat on medium heat on stovetop until warm.
Remember: Let rest for 1 min before serving. Do not overcook - its not meal! Cook until internal temp is 165 degrees (minimum).
Mandarin Chick'n Dinner:
Prepare as above. Garnish with finely chopped green onions. Serve with rice and steamed broccoli, snow peas or your favorite vegetable and top with sesame seeds.
Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick'n Salad:
Toss shredded Savoy cabbage, chopped scallions, shredded carrots and cilantro in large bowl. Whisk together 1/4 cup rice vinegar, 1/4 cup olive or safflower oil, 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp maple syrup. Pour dressing over greens and toss well. Saute 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced shiitake mushrooms or white button mushrooms until tender and slightly crisp. Add salt, pepper and 1 tsp tamari and set aside. Prepare mandarin chick'n [directions above], add warm shiitakes and chick'n to greens and serve.
