Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen 2 screws on bottom. 2. Lift off top to expose battery compartment. 3. Remove old batteries. Insert 2 new AAA batteries as marked. 4. Reassemble top to bottom. Note parts only fit together one direction (with arrow pointed toward the head). Tighten both screws, but don't overtighten.
