Directions	Microwave for 30-40 seconds for 1-2 patties, or 1-2 minutes for 8 patties (if frozen, double cooking time). Top with butter, and season with brown sugar, nutmeg, or allspice. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. Pan fry in 1/4" of 375 degrees F cooking oil, turning frequently, until light drown (6-8 minutes). Variation: Prepare candied yam patties by pouring sauce (4 parts water, 1 part sugar, 1 part butter) over patties to a 1/4" depth. Heat as directed in oven or microwave. Heat to internal temperature of 175 -180 degrees F for 5 seconds. Keep frozen.
