For cups with straws, after cleaning, pinch attached valve to open slit (see illustration 3) before reinserting it back into the end of the short straw. Then reinsert short straw through bottom of lid (see illustration 4) and attach long straw onto end of valve (see illustration 5). How to clean your Playtex Twist 'n Click? cup: The cup, lid, and valve (or straw) are top rack dishwasher safe, away from heat source, or are hand washable. For cups with spouts, store the valve under the lid when washing parts in the dishwasher (see illustration 7). Avoid use of abrasive cleaners.
