Directions Household gloves recommended. How to use CLR® Calcium, Lime, and Rust product: Always spot test on a hidden surface first before beginning any cleaning job. May etch older sinks, tubs and tiles. Always avoid prolonged contact with any surface. After 2 minutes, rinse promptly and thoroughly with cold clean water. Showerhead, toilets, tubs, sinks, porcelain, stucco, vinyl siding, brick, coffeepots, tea kettles, and humidifiers: Mix equal parts (50/50 CLR® to water solution) for light stains/build-up. Repeat as necessary. Use full strength for stubborn stains/build-up. After 2 minutes, rinse promptly and thoroughly with cold dean water. Concrete: Use per instructions above but do not use on colored concrete, concrete under 1 year old, or on sealed or stamped concrete. Due to various compositions of concrete a lightening or darkening may occur. After 2 minutes, rinse promptly and thoroughly with cold clean water. Coffeemakers: Refer to your coffee maker manual cleaning directions first. Mix 1 part CLR® product to 8 parts water, remove filter, run through cycle. Rinse well with 4 pots of water. Do not use in coffeemakers that hold water permanently including espresso, Gevalia or Keurig machines. See website for more detailed instructions. Washing machine/dishwashers: Add 1/2 cup to an empty machine on normal cycle. Run another cycle empty with just water to rinse. Do not use on: Natural stone/marble. Terrazzo. Colored grout. Metallic/painted/coated/sealed surfaces. Laminates (Formica®)/plastics. Espresso machines. Some coffeemakers/see above. Steam irons/steamers/steam machines. Any damaged or cracked surfaces. Brass/copper/aluminum. Galvanized metal. Clothing/fabric/carpeting. Wallpaper. Refinished bathtubs. Wood. Colored concrete. Concrete less than 1 yr. old. Sealed or stamped concrete.
