Directions | Range top directions: Servings (about 1 cup cooked): 1: Couscous, uncooked - 1/3 cup: Water, broth or juice - 1/3 cup: Salt (optional) - pinch: Olive oil or butter - 1 tsp. Servings (about 1 cup cooked): 2: Couscous, uncooked - 2/3 cup:Water, broth or juice - 3/4 cup: Salt (optional) - 1/4 tsp: Olive oil or butter - 2 tsp. Servings (about 1 cup cooked): 4: Couscous, uncooked - 1 box: Water, broth or juice - 1 1/2 cups:Salt (optional) - 1/2 tsp: Olive oil or butter - 1 tbsp. 1. In medium sauce pan, bring water, salt (optional) and olive oil or butter just to a boil. 2. Stir in couscous; cover. 3. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff couscous lightly with fork before serving. See side panel for microwave, low fat and high altitude directions. Microwave directions: 1. In round 2-quart microwaveable glass casserole, combine water and salt (optional). Refer to range top directions chart for water and salt measurements. 2. Microwave at high until boiling, about 1-2 minutes for 1 serving, 4-5 minutes for 2 servings, or 6-7 minutes for the entire box.* 3. Add couscous and olive oil or butter; stir.
