Microwave usage instructions: rubbermaid glass containers are safe for use in the microwave. Use minimum cooking time to heat oil or butter. Do not use product to microwave popcorn or heat foods wrapped in a heat-concentrating material. Plastic lids are made of microwave safe materials that can be used to reheat foods to a temperature comfortable for eating. These lids are not intended for cooking or for use in a conventional oven. Lift corner of lid to allow steam to vent when microwaving. Sealing plastic lid while heating may create extra pressure causing lid to melt, warp, or creating excessive steam build up. Always open container away from body to prevent burns. Oven usage instructions: do not use plastic lids in conventional or convection oven. Plastic lids are for microwave use only. Only the glass bases are safe for use in the conventional oven. Always handle hot glassware with dry potholders. Oven must be preheated before inserting glassware.
