Directions	Our recipe for lemon bars. This box contains shortbread crust mix & lemon filling mix. You'll need. Crust. 1. Stick (8 tablespoons) butter, softened. Filling. 3 large eggs. 1/2 cup of water. Bakes. 16 bars. 1. Preheat. Oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 8" square pan. 2. Blend. Butter and crust mix until thoroughly combined, and large crumbs form. Press crumbs into bottom of pan and 1/2" up sides of pan. 3. Bake. Crust to a medium golden brown, about 20-26 minutes. 4. Whisk. Together lemon filling mix, eggs, and water until well combined. Pour over hot, baked crust. 5. Bake. Bars for 20-22 minutes or until filling is set in center when pan is shaken. Cool bars for 1 hour at room temperature, then at least 1 hour or overnight in refrigerator before cutting. If desired, dust with powdered sugar immediately before serving. Do not eat raw mix, dough, or batter.
