Feeding instructions:
When switching to Companion® Wholesome Formula Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dog Food from another dog food, allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Companion® Wholesome Formula Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dog Food with decreasing amounts of your dog's previous food until you are feeding only the new dog food.
Easy to feed: feed dog food either dry or moistened with water. If you are mixing with water, mix one part food to no more than four parts water.
This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed your dog slightly more or less, depending on your dog's activity level and overall fitness.
We recommend feeding your adult dog within the guidelines listed below:
Weight of dog, pounds: 5. Feeding amount, cups*: 3/4.
Weight of dog, pounds: 10. Feeding amount, cups*: 1 1/4.
Weight of dog, pounds: 20. Feeding amount, cups*: 1 3/4.
Weight of dog, pounds: 30. Feeding amount, cups*: 2 1/2.
Weight of dog, pounds: 40. Feeding amount, cups*: 2 3/4.
Weight of dog, pounds: 60. Feeding amount, cups*: 3 3/4.
Weight of dog, pounds: 80. Feeding amount, cups*: 4 5/8.

Amount of food your dog requires will depend on activity, age, environment, and breed. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Always provide access to clean fresh water.
