Directions | Cooking directions: Simmer: for every 8 ounces (approximately 1/8 of the bag) of broccoli, cauliflower & carrots, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 5-6 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/8 of the bag) of broccoli, cauliflower & carrots in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave oven: pour broccoli, cauliflower & carrots in microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Drain. Season to taste. Amount - 8 oz (1/8 bag) - 32 oz (1/2 bag). Water - 2 tbsp - 1/3 cup. Cooking time* - 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes - 4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 7 minutes. Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Keep frozen until ready to use. |
