Directions | Cooking directions: Simmer: For every 8 ounces (approximately 1/8 of the bag) of Broccoli Florets, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 6-8 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/8 of the bag) of Broccoli Florets in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave Oven: Pour broccoli florets in microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Drain. Season to taste. Amount - 8 oz (1/8 bag) - 16 oz (1/4 bag). Water - 1/8 cup - 1/4 cup. Cooking time* - 4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 3-4 minutes - 4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4-5 minutes. Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Keep frozen until ready to use. |
