Directions	Cooking instructions. Stove top. 1. Bring 1 2/3 cups of water to boil in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir in yellow rice mix with seasoning. 3. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave. 1. In a 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe dish, combine 1 2/3 cups hot water and yellow rice mix. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. 3. Reduce setting to 50% power and microwave for 17 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. If your microwave does not have variable power settings follow your manufacturer's directions. Makes about 2 1/2 servings (1 cup cooked per serving). For richer flavor in either method, add 1 tablespoon tub margarine during step 1.
