Directions | Microwavable. Cooking instruction: Microwave** - stove top: Serving - 1,1 - 2,6. Water* - 1 cup,1 cup - 1 3/4 cups,5 3/4 cups. Oats - 1/2 cup,1/2 cup - 1 cup,3 cups. Salt (optional) - 1/8 tsp,1/8 tsp - 1/4 tsp,3/4 tsp. Microwave directions: 1. Combine water, oats and salt in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on high (100% power) 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. 3. Remove from oven; mix well. Stove top directions: 1. Bring water and salt to a rolling boil. 2. Add oats; reduce to medium heat and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover; remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes. *Use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner oatmeal. **Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate.
