Directions | Cooking Instructions: Microwave: Pour bag of frozen vegetables and 1/4 cup of water into 2 quart microwave safe casserole dish. Cover and cook on high 5 minutes*. Stir, and continue to cook for 6 minutes*. Let stand covered 1-2 minutes. Drain; season and serve. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Broccoli & Cauliflower, bring 1/3 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 6-8 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Broccoli & Cauliflower in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8-10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. To Store: Keep frozen until ready to use. Store at 0°F (-18°C). Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen until ready to prepare. |
