Daily feeding directions for adult maintenance:
Dog size - toy. Weight (lbs) - 3-12. Daily amount† - 1/2-1 1/2 cups.
Dog size - small. Weight (lbs) - 13-25. Daily amount† - 1 1/2-2 1/4 cups.
Dog size - medium. Weight (lbs) - 26-50. Daily amount† - 2 1/4-4 cups.
Dog size - large. Weight (lbs) - 51-100. Daily amount† - 4-6 1/2 cups.
Dog size - extra large. Weight (lbs) - 100+. Daily amount† - 6 1/2 cups + add 1/2 cup for every 12 lbs over 100 lbs of body weight.
†These are recommended feeding guidelines that should be adjusted as needed to obtain optimum weight. Use a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup for determining food amounts.
Feeding instructions:
Adult dogs with normal activity may be fed the recommended amount in two meals daily. Increase or decrease the serving size according to your dog's size, age, weight, and activity level to maintain optimum body weight. Use the standard chart as a guide.
Switching to Ol' Roy kibbles, chunks, & chews dog food:
When you first bring your new companion home or when you change foods, your dog will need help transitioning to the new food.
Begin by switching to the new food slowly over the course of 7-10 days. Each day mix a little more of the new food with a little less of the old food until you are feeding only the new.
Caring for your pet:
Seal bag after feeding to preserve freshness; always store in a cool, dry place off the floor.
Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container at all times.
Unopened pet food can be kept until best if used by date.
Once opened, for best results use within 8 weeks.
Regular veterinary visits are recommended to ensure your dog's good health.
