Directions | Cooking Directions 1 SERVING Water * 1 cup. Salt (optional) pinch. Maltex 1/3 cup 2 SERVINGS Water* 2 cups. Salt (optional) 1/8 tsp. Maltex 2/3 cup. 4 SERVINGS Water* 4 cups. Salt (optional) 1/4 tsp. Maltex 1 1/3 cups. * For thicker cereal add less water. For thinner cereal add more water. Stove top. - Heat water and salt to a rapid boil. - Slowly stir in Maltex. - Reduce heat to a moderate boil. Cook 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Remove from heat. Let sit until desired consistency, about 1 minute. - Stir before serving. Microwave (1 Serving). - Combine water, salt and Maltex in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. - Microwave on HIGH until boiling, about 2 minutes; stir. - Reduce power to MEDIUM-LOW. Microwave for 1 3/4 minutes. - Stir before serving. Times given are approximate. Use care when removing bowl from oven, it may be hot. |
