Directions |
Ready in under 30 minutes.
All you need to add: 1 pound lean ground beef, or 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1/2 inch pieces, 2 cups milk, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup sour cream.
Marie's special touch: For a lighter sauce, increase milk to 2 1/2 cups and omit sour cream.
Stove top preparation:
Cook: Cook ground beef or steak in large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain if using steak, remove from pan and set aside.
Stir: Stir in milk, water, seasoning and pasta.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer: Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 12 minutes, or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream. It using steak, return meat to skillet during last 3 minutes to heat through.
Serve: Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Serve and enjoy!
