Directions	Keep frozen. Microwave or regular oven. Conventional oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove overwrap and cover tray with foil. Place tray on a cookie sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes or until hot. Microwave oven: Make a 1-inch slit in overwrap. Heat on high 4-5 minutes. Remove overwrap. Stir rice; heat on medium (50% power) another 3-4 minutes, or until heated throughout. Toaster oven: Remove all packaging. Transfer product to a covered toaster oven-safe dish. Cook according to conventional oven directions. Ovens vary, so please use these instructions as a guide to the best preparation for your oven.

Other Description	After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987 we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health-conscious people too busy to cook. We use only the finest natural and organic ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home. No meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, eggs or peanuts are ever used in any Amy's products. When Amy's family first discovered the tamale verde at their favorite restaurant in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, they couldn't believe how good it tasted, and kept ordering it over and over again. Amy's dad hoped that we could re-create the recipe for this wonderful authentic Mexican dish and offer it to Amy's customers. That was easier said than done. It took three years to perfect...to grow organic tomatillos (which are the heart of the salsa verde) and to make the salsa so that it was just right. All the ingredients are carefully selected and prepared. The organic masa (ground and cooked corn) is poured onto individual parchments, filled with a mixture of monterey jack cheese, chiles and jalapenos, and then folded and steamed. The tamales are then unwrapped by hand, topped with our delicious verde sauce and served with a side of Spanish rice made from organic brown rice and organic black beans. This delightful tamale dinner is a favorite throughout Mexico and will become a favorite of yours as well. 0g trans fat. No added MSG. No preservatives. No GMOs - no bioengineered ingredients.
