Directions	You'll need: 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) butter, softened (not melted). Tip: For lighter cookies, use a lighter colored cookie sheet. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. If necessary, soften cold butter in microwave on high power for 10-15 seconds. 2. Stir with a spoon. Stir butter and cookie mix until dough forms, hand kneading if necessary. Place dough on lightly floured surface; roll to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into 1x3-inch rectangles. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Pierce dough with a fork. 3. Bake until golden. Bake 11-13 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. Makes 24 cookies. Real butter works best.
