Top-of-stove directions:
1. In medium saucepan, bring 1-1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup 2% milk* and 1 Tbsp. margarine (optional) to a boil.
(Try using I can't believe it's not Butter®! Spread or Country Crock® Spread).
2. Stir in contents of package and return to a bowl. Reduce heat and continue boiling gently for 8 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
3. Let stand at least 2 minutes. Stir and serve.
*For a lower-fat alternative, try using low-fat or skim milk.
Microwave directions:
In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup milk, 1 Tbsp. margarine (optional) and contents of package. Microwave uncovered at high about 10 minutes* or until pasta is tender, stirring once halfway through cooking. Let stand at least 2 minutes or until sauce thickens and noodles separate. Stir and serve.
*Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Directions above developed in a 1200 watt microwave oven.
