Directions | Store in a cool dry place. Basic: Bring 4 cups of water (1 quart) to a boil. Add salt to taste (approx. 1 tsp). Slowly add 1 cup of polenta while whisking with a fork as it enters the water to prevent clumping. Reduce heat, and continue stirring for approx. 5 minutes, or until desired consistency. Makes 6 side servings. For 1 or 2 servings: Follow the above using 4 tbs polenta, 1 cup of water, and salt to taste (1/2 tsp). |
