For best results, apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Starter® food for new grass. Spreader settings - reseeding - new lawn/bare spot repair: Scotts® hand-held spreaders - 5 - 5*. Scotts® broadcast / rotary spreaders - 8 1/2 - 9 1/2. Scotts® drop spreaders - 11 - 12 1/2. Go over lawn twice. **Go over lawn three times. Water: Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
