Directions |
Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly.
For food safety and quality, follow these cooking directions: Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not use toaster oven.
Cook thoroughly (heat to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F).
Never leave cooking appliance unattended while in use.
Children should be supervised.
Microwave oven (suggested method):
Microwave oven wattages vary; adjustment to cooking time may be required.
1. Remove entree from carton. Pull up one corner of the film to vent.
2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
3. Pull back film, stir, replace film.
4. Microwave for an additional 2-1/2 minutes or until hot. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes in microwave before serving. Package may be hot. Developed in a 1,100 watt oven.
Conventional oven: For Kashi consumers who do not use microwaves, we have developed the following preparation instructions using a conventional oven. The frozen entrees should never be cooked in a toaster oven.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Do not exceed 350 degrees F.
2. Remove entree from carton.
3. Place tray on a baking sheet and puncture film with 5 slits.
4. Place baking sheet with tray in the center of the oven and cook for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from oven, pull back film and stir. Replace film.
6. Cook for an additional 20 minutes or until hot.
7. Carefully remove baking sheet with tray from oven.
8. Carefully remove film and stir before serving.
