Directions	Keep frozen. Cooking directions: For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Microwave: 1) Place onions in microwave safe dish. 2) Cover and microwave on high for 7 1/2 minutes (4 minutes* for half package); stir halfway through cooking. 3) Drain. (Cook time based on 1200 watt microwave; cook time may need to be adjusted for your microwave). Stovetop: 1) Place onions in saucepan. Add 3/4 cup water (1/4 cup for half package). Bring water to a full boil over high heat. 2) Reduce heat to medium-high and cover. Cook for 6-7 minutes* (4-5 minutes* for half package), stirring occasionally. 3) Drain. Store tightly closed in freezer at 0 degrees F. From our chef. Golden pearl onions (serves 4). 1. Cook white pearl onions according to package directions. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon paprika in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add onions and cook for 5-8 minutes. 4. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar and heat for 30 seconds. Serve with your favorite steak, pork or chicken recipe.
