Directions | Keep frozen. Store tightly closed in freezer at 0 degrees F. Cook thoroughly before eating. Microwave instructions: 1) Place broccoli in microwave safe dish. 2) Cover and microwave on high for 8 minutes* (4 minutes* for half package); stir halfway through cooking. 3) Drain. (Cook time based on 1200 watt microwave; cook time may need to be adjusted for your microwave.) Stovetop instructions: 1) Place broccoli in saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water (1/3 cup for half package). Bring water to a full boil over high heat. 2) Reduce heat to medium-high and cover. Cook 6-7 minutes* (4-5 minutes* for half package), stirring occasionally. 3) Drain. *For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. |
